MS Musical:
Beauty & The
Beast
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
MS Comp:
The Giver
Jonas' world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear or pain. Nor are there decisions to be made, or emotions to be felt. Those are against the rules in this society of sameness. When Jonas turns twelve, he is chosen to train with The Giver—the keeper of the community's collective memories. For the first time he experiences the feeling of love, as well as the pain of hunger, loneliness, and disease that the community has suppressed. What will Jonas do with this knowledge? Is it worth sacrificing life's joys in exchange for a pain-free existence?
HS Comp:
